Dr. Don AllenDr. Don Allen began his dentistry training at the University of Toronto, where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Following a dental internship at the Toronto General and Toronto Western Hospital, Dr. Allen refined his skills by completing a post graduate course in Radiology. Dr. Allen started a private practice in Windsor which he devoted many years of practice. Dedicated to his profession and patients, Dr. Allen is continuously seeking opportunity for continuing education. He has also served on the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) Board of Governors and taught community college courses in dental assisting and dental hygiene.

Currently living and farming in Perth County, Dr. Allen has joined the team at Avon Dental.

When he is not working, you can find Dr. Allen farming, cycling, reading, enjoying a show at the Stratford Festival, or spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Meet Our Staff

Jennifer,
Registered Dental Hygienist – Operations Manager/ Treatment Coordinator Jennifer began working at Avon Dental Office in 2003 immediately after graduating from the Dental Hygiene Program at Georgian College, Orillia. She is registered through the College of Dental Hygienist’s of Ontario (CDHO) and is a member of the Ontario Dental Hygienist’s Association (ODHA). Maintaining a quality assurance portfolio she enjoys getting to know her patients individually to provide safe and up-to-date treatments.

In 2017, with over 13 years experience at Avon Dental, Jennifer took on a new role as Operations Manger/ Treatment Coordinator. Maintaining her hygiene diploma, you will more often find her behind the desk offering the same quality of patient care rather in a different role.

Keenan,
Registered Dental Hygienist Keenan graduated in 2007 from the Ontario Dental Education institute (ODEI) in Ancaster, Ontario. Keenan is a Dental Hygienist that is dedicated to her profession and to her patients by continuing her education through various programs and seminars on a regular basis. She is also a certified Orthodontics Hygienist, becoming certified by the International Association of Orthodontics in 2010. Keenan also enjoys volunteering in her community and the surrounding area as often as possible. 

Amy,
Level II Assistant Amy began working at Avon Dental Office in 1999 and has since worked alongside Dr. Lipa as a Personal Dental Assistant. Graduating from Medix College, she maintains her certification through the Ontario Dental Assistants Association (ODAA). Amy participates in continuing education to better assist Dr. Lipa and provide the best care to all the patients. She also enjoys working with the leading technology that Dr. Lipa has to offer at her office.

Josie,
Certified Dental Receptionist Josie graduated from the Ontario Dental Assistants Association (ODAA) course as a Certified Dental Receptionist. She maintains her certification through the ODAA and participates in continuing education courses regularly. Josie has been working at Avon Dental Office for the past 9 years.

Joanne,
Certified Dental Receptionist Joanne graduated from Medix College, London Ontario in 1999 as a Certified Dental Assistant, Level II, certified with the National Dental Assisting Examination Board (NDAEB). Participating in continuing education courses regularly to maintain her certification, she has had the pleasure of being part of the Avon Dental team since 2016.

Aria,
Dental Hygienist Aria completed the Dental Assisting program prior to completing the Dental Hygiene program through Fanshawe College. Aria maintains her hygiene licence through the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO). While going to the dentist isn’t everyone’s favourite thing to do, Aria will ensure that you are comfortable throughout your dental appointments.
